Overview:
Understanding and
implementation of the method that fosters collaborative learning among
colleagues. It is often used in schools as a way to organize teachers into
working groups of practice-based professional learning. Following the work of
Richard DuFour, examine the attributes and characteristics of PLCs, the
importance of collaboration among teachers, the elements of an effective team,
and protocols on how to conduct PLC meetings in your school.
